Director and Writer James Gunn’s 2025 adaptation of the hero, Superman, is undeniably political, only again, in the way Superman’s existence is itself a political problem for some, and again, that makes Superman in Gunn’s film a punk rocker. The best Superman live-action film, with an incredible cast, story, and music.
