Lauraine Snelling in her 2008 book, One Perfect Day, captures the yin and yang of organ donation, where one’s worst day is one’s perfect day, one’s tragedy is another’s salvation. As in yin and yang, such a dichotomy is beautiful and inspiring, and deeply, abidingly human. A lovely, beautiful story.
