While I was spurred on to finally read these classics by Nolan’s upcoming adaptation, I enjoyed them, despite the particular challenge of The Iliad, reveling in the adventure, moved by themes of loyalty and valor, laughing at times (the taunts are devastating!), and enthralled by revenge scheming.
